"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. "Parking was nightmare. Had to park in the dark, muddy, wet car park and walk to the reception getting covered in mud. Went for a drink in the bar and the girl who didnt speak very good english had the personality of a dead fish. Then when we tried to sleep the room was boiling and the windows didn't open so had an awful nights sleep. Breakfast took ages and we had to watch a group be sat, served and fed before ours turned up. Won't be back but it wasn't a bad hotel. "

"A really lovely room, it appears to be new. The shower room was amazing, great shower and the tiles looked really nice. The floor of the bedroom wasn’t clean on arrival but when I asked about it they dealt with it quickly. All staff were very friendly and the service was great in the restaurant. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious and great value. We were given £20 vouchers due to our tv not working during our stay which was a kind gesture. The parking is included and so convenient....
