My room has two issues that could not be resolved -- the TV only played one channel (not a big deal, I wasn't the to watch TV) and the heating didn't work (not a big deal, it was only cool for a few hours just before bed, felt ok otherwise). My room was on the top floor, not necessarily an easy climb for everyone through narrow stairs, but, in exchange, I had a super view of Quito with full windows on two sides of the room."
