Ingram bay Marina was an excellent half way point directly on the bay with phenomenal sunrises & sunsets (a key component in a place to stay). "This place is truly an oasis in a beautiful part of the world. The furnishings and kitchen are contemporary and beautifully chosen. The view of the Rappahannock River is magnificent and there's even an osprey nest with ospreys that use it. The bathroom is gorgeous too. The hosts are welcoming and you are greeted with wine, cheese and crackers. I wish we lived closer so that we could stay there more often. Nearby Urbanna is also a great place to eat, take a boat ride, and enjoy the quaint town. "

"Was convenient to my job site and had all the necessary amenities. Arlene was a great, responsive host. 2 small issues- no ac/heat in bedroom, so it can get pretty hot in the summer Lots of moths and other flying bugs Other than that, great place to stay and well worth the price!"

"I was absolutely pleasantly surprised how beautiful this home was. A lot of antique pieces was a thrill for me to see, and the dining room table...whew! It was such a lovely piece! We had plenty of room so we didn't feel cramped. The bed upstairs was definitely more comfortable than my own at home. We definitely didn't want to leave, and hooe to be back!"
