Summary:
Malachite Lodge is a 4 bedroom contemporary, luxury home on Cotswold Water Park near Cirencester sleeping 8 people. Located centrally for visiting the delights of the Cotswolds and just under an hour from Oxford,Bath,Stratford-upon-Avon & Warwick. This lakeside home has stunning views over the lake and some of the best sunsets. The property benefits from a large decking area with private hot tub. 3 double/kingsize beds with flexibility in the 4th bedroom to be either 1 kingsize bed or 2 singles

The Neighborhood:
The home is situated in the middle of Cotswold Water Park - an area of outstanding natural beauty and site of special scientific interest.
Within a few minutes walking or driving there are many activities, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Just on the next lake there are mechanised sports with waterside ski and wake, non mechanised water activities with South Cerney Outdoor. The Cotswold Range provides archery and shooting. Coffee shops on Summer Lake and South Cerney Outdoor provide great coffee and street food as examples.

Getting Around:
A car is ideal to get around as there are so many Cotswold villages and attractions to visit whilst staying with us.

Alternatively the nearest railway station is Kemble, 7 miles away or Swindon 15 minutes away.

There is a local bus route that goes from the end of the lane and goes to Cirencester and Swindon for onward connections.

A spacious home in a beautiful setting
The views out of the windows both upstairs and downstairs are stunning. We loved sitting in the hot tub watching the birds on the water with a glass of wine in hand. The place was plenty big enough with decent size rooms, enough seating for everyone and the kitchen was well equipped. We relaxed with beauty treatments and had a fun trip to to try archery at the Cotswold range. We even managed a gentle paddle across the lake using the canoe from the house.

Enjoyed a weekend family get together at this fantastic property. The setting on the lake was peaceful and private with amazing sunsets. The hot tub, bbq and kayak were additional pluses. The property location was perfect, allowing us all to do varied activities such as bird watching, paddleboarding, horse riding and fishing - something for everyone within short distance. Also, two picture perfect cotswolds villages within walking distance and we manged to fit in an evening meal at Asha at The Crown, Cerney Wick, which we highly recommend. Loved our time here and didn't want to leave.
