"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping."

"We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...

"Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"The tower was absolutely beautiful and very unique, the craftsmanship was phenomenal and it was a lovely place to stay for a night. "Das Haus ist sehr schön und absolut ruhig gelegen. Der Ort ist sehr klein, aber man direkt von dort zu schönen Spaziergängen starten. Der nächste Bäcker mit leckerem Brot und Croissants ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen - in Nuars. Abel hat uns herzlichen in Empfang genommen. Er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns auch Honig vom ortsansässigen Imker besorgt - sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten gibt es in der Nähe (ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto) einen schönen Badesee, der nicht zu überlaufen...

"Naomi's gite in Montreal was perfect for my needs and Naomi was kind and accommodating throughout my stay. The house in which the gite is located is on the highway into Montreal but it is not noisy and I was able to leave the windows open at night and not be bothered by traffic sounds.
