This cultural and educational complex features six venues across 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) of Valencia’s Turía Gardens. The City of Arts and Science caters to a diverse range of interests for both kids and adults.
Discover a re-creation of an ant’s nest and a 15-metre (49-foot) tall model of a DNA molecule at the Science Museum. Nearby is the Hemisfèric, a cinema with a domed 3-D IMAX screen. See movies and high definition animations on the cinema’s screen. Outside, the building is shaped in a semi-sphere and reflected in a nearby lake, making it resemble an enormous eye.

The City of Arts and Sciences is a pleasant 45-minute walk from the Old Town via Turía Gardens. Reach the complex by car in 15 minutes. On-site car parking is available for a fee. Metro and bus routes stop near the complex’s main entrance.
The area is open daily, but different opening times and admission prices apply to each venue. Take a whole day to explore the complex or purchase a multiday ticket to allow two or three days of visiting.
