"Alander is a great place to stay. Room is spacious clean. Bed is comfortable and nice. Decor is over the top. Bathroom is neat and clean. Most of all the staff is accommodating, accessible and responsive to our request even it was late. Love the idea of promoting local products. Love the coffee! The restaurant North Star is superb food was great. Hopefully we can go back in spring. Despite the snowstorm we still enjoyed our stay. "

Location is very convenient to Warren Street and shops etc. Elevator is out of service, and there does seem to be some work going on, front entrance boarded up. "Please excuse our appearance" etc etc. All told, it was clean and comfy and convenient. Just not a luxury hotel. "
