"The Dale" @ The Glen for a Romantic getaway !

Beautiful refurbished cottage set in gorgeous landscaped gardens. Offering a peaceful escape from the hectic pace. Overlooking undulating natural bushland on 400 +acres. Approx 15 mins Bathurst toward Sofala. Log fire, full kitchen, sheets n towels provided. Private Spa to watch the milky way so clear in our night sky. Sealed road + bitumen driveway. Amazing bird life, kangaroos and bush walking. Read a book. Relax. Fur kids welcome, fully fenced yard. NO SHOOTING allowed.

The space
The cottage is really cosy and newly renovated inside with timber floors in living areas carpeted bedroom with a queen bed and also a sofa bed in the lounge room

A lovely slow combustion log fire ( wood is cut and ready to use at your door during winter only)

A fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, oven and dish washer etc
BBQ on back deck overlooking the beautiful gardens.

Table and chairs are on the front deck which again has a lovely rural outlook

The cottage is away from the road and located near the main residence but has a garden surrounding that provides you with privacy

It is peaceful and relaxing. Bring your food and drinks .

We supply cooking oils and condiments tea coffee and milk are all here for you

We supply linen and towels

A great escape for a romantic getaway

Walk the 400 +acres and enjoy beautiful Australian native bush and wildlife

Plenty of kangaroos and bird life

No shooting or firearms are permitted to be brought to the farm

We run dorper sheep on a small part of our farm the balance is lovely natural bushland retreat

Beautiful walks across hilly terrain
Several seasonal creeks and 7 dams( unfenced)

A lot of lovely picnic spots so bring your back packs

Sorry no fires permitted as too dry and they need a permit from rural fire brigade

Only fires in your BBQ ( gas) and in house log fire are all ok

Graceful garden cottage in the bush
Had a really enjoyable stay The Dale is a charming garden cottage for two surrounded by a glorious landscape of rolling hills, forest, and grazing sheep. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the starry nights and the birdsong. A toasty fire was very cozy too. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a full bathroom plus an additional toilet, with porches and seating at the front and the back of the house, so more than spacious for two. Just 20 minutes outside of Bathurst, but a remote and secluded location. We watched the kangaroos below the paddock at dawn and dusk, and took in shooting stars from our deck chairs. We used The Dale as a base to explore Orange and Bathurst. Already planning our next stay.
