"Everything about this property was wonderful. It is beautiful with a very calming esthetic. The details—the fresh linens, towels, soaps—everything were luxury hotel quality. The house is extremely clean. It was quiet and the owner of the adjoining home is very sweet. Wonderful!!"

"The property itself was great. The location in terms of how close it was to tourist spots was excellent. My only complaint, and it can't be helped, is that there were at least 7 stray dogs that would occasionally hang out in the front yard. Not sure if they were friendly or escaped neighbors dogs, but that made us a little nervous. "

"We were in town celebrating my Mother in law's 70th birthday. This house was very convenient for visiting Magnolia and all that Waco has to offer. It was fun to stay in a fixer upper house, we ended up watching the episode of this house while staying there one night. The owner has worked hard to make the interior resemble the finished product of the show. The only "surprise" was that the bathrooms were not as updated as I was anticipating, but they were clean and functional."

"Perfect stay for a family of 5 with a dog & cat! House was exactly as pictured and extremely clean, you would never know pets are allowed in the house. Beds were comfortable which included a comfy roll-a-way bed as well. Although we did not utilize, the kitchen was nice and seemed well stocked. Big yard, perfect for dog to run around in. "I absolutely would've given 5 stars for everything but their were some small issues. Number one was one of the comforters had what appeared to be blood on it. I wasn't aware of this until one of my guests told me about it after we had checked out. Other than that the property was very clean! The second issue was the property having "lake access". I understand lake access isn't the same as lakefront and I did put lakefront in my search parameters. I assumed lake access would be a short walk...
