"I have found that dinner in the bar is sometimes amazing and sometimes not, it's a bit hit and miss unfortunately. It was not obvious when I booked the room via Expedia but the bed was a smallish double, thankfully the hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger bed. I wish Expedia would make the size of bed more clear when booking. "

I was a little dissapointed that the pub and coffee shop they display on their website were closed for the off-season. Yet there are plenty of alternatives within walking distance. I loved the history of the hotel and the pride with which this is displayed. I would definitely stay again. "
