We had an amazing long weekend in Cologne. Staying in the Legend Hotel definitely helped to make it special. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and had helpful tips what to do and where to eat in the area. Lovely and clean rooms. Right in the middle of the old town, everything is easily walkable.

This hotel was so elegant and modern! Very conveniently located close to the train station, Cologne Cathedral, old town, shopping, dining, the Rhine, etc. There is an onsite restaurant and rooftop terrace with lovely views of the city, and a subway station right underneath the hotel. We did not need to use the subway, however, as everything was in walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel near main train station
Booked the suite and it was beautiful. Love the decor and design. Just a note the bathroom is an open concept. Slippers provided upon request. No kettle in the room. Bed was comfortable but pillows too soft. It was a little difficult to find the entrance to the reception though. Walkable from main train stn though try to avoid the cobblestones. One of the biggest Christmas markets was right in front of the hotel.

Really enjoyed the loft room with a clear view of the cathedral. Only concern I'd highlight is staying here in the heat of summer, particularly in one of the lofts because the sunlight in the lofts make the rooms quite warm but we just left the windows open since it was ~55-65F outside during our stay.

The location was excellent; you can walk to most things in old town. The suite we stayed has full view of the square. It was great for people watching. The PULS restaurant on the property serves exceptional dinners and cocktails. We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing hotel, worth the stay
Amazing hotel in Köln! If I have the chance, will definitely stay there again. The hotel is well located. A 7 minute walk from the train station, a 3 minute walk from bars and restaurants. The breakfast is delicious, just a few options of cheese, salami, salmon, lioner, but for us it was enough and delicious.

We had a room with roof windows, it was very stylish. You could see the Rathaus building in the window. The hotel was easy to find from the train station. It is modern and cozy, facing a plaza with dozens of dining options. We spent here only one night, wish we could stay longer. The windows can open, but when shut you don't hear street noises.

Really excellent hotel in a great location of the old market. Close to the main shopping area, tourist attractions and public transport. Hotel room decoration and presentation was perfect. Roof top terrace was a nice surprise where you get an excellent view of the cathedral. Only downside was the air conditioning. It was either too weak to cool the room down on a hot summers day or it was faulty.

Our stay at the Legend Hotel was top tier. First off it was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything was nice & new and everythjng about it was excellent. Secondly, the location is great for dining options & transportation around cologne. The hotel is directly above an underground train station, which is incredibly convenient. Finally the staff at the Legend Hotel was incredibly helpful & friendly. My wife and i had our travel plans change and we needes to check out a day earlier than on the reservation and the Legend Hotel staff were accommodating and didnt charge us for the night we had reserved but couldn't stay for. This hotel is a must stay if you find yourself in Cologne, Germany.

Location, Location, Location!
Everything was perfect about this hotel. The location was amazing for touring the Christmas Markets in Cologne. The two best were a 2 - 3 minute walk. The train station was an 8 minute walk away. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful! My husband was, unfortunately, very ill while we were there. The woman who worked the breakfast brought him tea all morning long and a blanket while he was working in private corner of the restaurant. The front desk brought him extra pillows so he could sleep upright to ease his cough. The rooms were clean and well tended. The room we had wasn’t large, but it was certainly adequate size for two. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone headed to Cologne.
