The Comox Recreation Centre with well equipped gym, squash courts, yoga, Zumba is a 5 minute walk. The marina has a wonderful boardwalk to view the estuary and the Comox Ice Cap. Killer Whales have been spotted in and around the Marina. Goosespit beach for swimming, walking, paddleboarding, kayaking, abundant marine and bird life and views across the Salish Sea to the mainland. A 30 minute drive will find you in Strathcona Park, BC's oldest provincial park offering spectacular views, mountain biking, hiking trails, skiing in Vancouver Island’s only full-service Alpine Village.
