"This cottage is in a great location for exploring north wales. Straight out of door into forestry walks. Well equipped kitchen. Overall rating lowered due to a couple of negatives. Was promised an initial set of wood/kindling on arrival but this was not provided nor were dishwasher tablets. The bedrooms are small but fine for a weekend. "We enjoyed our time in Conwy and at the Castle Apartment very much. The facility was clean and stocked with everything we required for our stay of three days. However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. We were within a short walk of the Castle, the city walls, the waterfront quay, Plas Mawr, the Royal Cambrian Academy and a myriad of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines.
