"This condo was perfect! It had everything you needed. The location was amazing. You are just a few minutes walk from the beach. And 3-4 minute drive from the 4x4 beach. "The house was great, plenty of room for the 8 of us with a bedroom to spare. Very close to beach as stated, very easy access. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable beds and the ships watch is a cool place for breakfast and games. The only ask for a flawless guest experience is to take some of the money you’re spending on electricity to dry towels for 3 hours in the ancient washer/dryer and get a new set. "Short walk to the beach and a nice community pool were the highlights of the visit. On the flip side, this place has absolutely no creature comforts. The beds were so hard and there was one sad and flat pillow per bed. Couch was in bad shape and not a place to get comfortable. "Perfect place to spend time in peace and quiet. The sunrises are spectacular from the porch or the private dock. The kitchen is so nice for visiting and preparing meals. It’s easy to get to Outer Banks, Norfolk, Sanctuary Vineyards for wine lovers is a great options. Lots and lots to explore in the area. I would stay here anytime I visit the area. "The only thing good I can say is that the kitchen was the best kitchen of any place I've rented before. They had everything you ever needed plus every cabinet was marked with contents. Many things not in repair: Elevator not working all week was the worst. My husband and I both needed it desperately (27 steps up and 27 steps down). Pool was never cleaned even though it should have been done twice within the week. Other issues were: fan not working, molding on upper deck had curled up at least...

"I loved the oak trees and the birds. Our site had an amazing view of the ocean as we were on the 3rd floor. We saw humpback whales, dolphins, pelicans, terns, grebes, and more. We appreciated our time there and intend to return."

"I love traveling but one thing I hate is knowing I have to lay my head down in a room that is not mine. My stay and my room was exceptional!! Clean, clean, clean. I felt so comfortable. The atmosphere was very peaceful and I loved being on the water. I will definitely be back !!!"

Dog friendly - Walk to the beach - Luxury Condo

Perfect spot for us and our pup!

"We had a great 4-night stay at this condo. It was perfect size for me, my husband and our 50 lb lab. The place was exactly as seen and described in the pics and posting. The owner was very responsive and checking in and out was seamless. The beach was an easy walk away. We also were able to walk to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse Complex. We lucked out with beautiful fall weather and will definitely be back to Corolla! "

"We stayed slightly off-season here (mid September). The complex was very quiet and we were lucky to have a third-floor unit with a nice view from the balcony and some of the windows. There are a lot of great recreational amenities in this complex, although not all of them were in top condition or well-maintained. Still, for the price we thought that this was a really good value. The complex is very large and nicely situated, right on the beach on the ocean side and a few minutes’ walk to the sound side and the Duck boardwalk. We really appreciated the indoor and outdoor pools, the Pickleball court, the hot tub, but there were also lots of other recreational options, like basketball and volleyball, corn hole, even outdoor chess. The apartment was nicely, appointed and clean, if a little dated in the kitchen and bathrooms. Still, for the money, it was large and had good flow. "

Great Family Vacation

"The property is spacious and was able to handle my family of 13 with ease. Short distance to the beach. Had everything we needed. A few minor problems but the management handled them immediately. Would definitely return to the Crabby Mermaid!"

Relaxing Time

"This was the get away we needed. Beautiful home in a sand community by the ocean. Who could.ask for anything better. We loved the open space of this home. Watching the sunset from the top balcony, bbq'd, swam in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub and played a game of pool and of coarse the beach was right there. There is a small park down the road and we got to see wild horses. We had the best time. Kids were exhausted from all the fun and so were the adults. Thank you."

"We were neighborhood friends like family celebrating a 60th. House was great and the amenities were convenient. The calls for any repairs and fixes were very responsive. We did note that the internet was not reliable for or party member that was teleworking and for those looking to connect to the internet at times. The house needs bathmats. The set up of the house was wonderful for visiting and gathering. The shuttle to the beach was simple and reliable."
