"This house is a real find. Arranged over four floors with a fantastic rooftop terrace, stylish bedrooms and bathrooms - the house makes use of all the space and has been beautifully decorated. "Interessantes Haus. Mitten im Ort. Freundliche Leute im Ort. Etwas schwierig die Parkplatzoptionen, zumindest im August. Das Haus in vier Ebenen, dazu viele Stufen. Viel Holz. Gewürze etc in Küche vorhanden, das kommt immer gut an. Gutes Haus zum Entspannen, auch wenn die Böden ziemlich knarren. Nicht geeignet aber für Leute mit Gehproblemen. Ohne Navi schwierig zu finden. "We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day. We would definitely come back and stay again."

"Very pleasant Hotel in a prime location on the river next to the old bridge with ready walking access to the old city. 2 nights in a comfortable room with bath and shower. Breakfast was ample with a good range of cold and hot buffet items. Service was excellent with reception staff supportive and helpful. On the critical side, the spacious balcony with good views of river, bridge and old town leaked from above, with tired floring. The spa is separate from the small hotel swimming pool at extra cost with the hot tub and sauna within the spa. No room service for food whilst the restaurant was open and fully booked. Overall, a good stay 8/10"

"Great location with a secure car park. The reception staff are very nice. Breakfast is good and the view from the restaurant on the Cite de Carcassonne is fantastic. Very small pool but nice to cool off and relax in after a long journey. Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning."

"Great property! We arrived very late and the hotel manager/staff was more than accommodating to get us from our uber to the hotel. Breakfast in the morning is a bit light but traditional. We had one issue where I showered the first day and was caught in the shower with both an empty large bottle of shampoo and body wash. My husband went to housekeeping and was able to recover it but inconvenient to wait that long and easily avoidable. All minor in the scheme of things. We would recommend this hotel! "

Great stay at Gite des Patiasses

"Really enjoyed our stay. The gite is situated in a picturesque spot in the hills above Couiza and was a good base for visiting the Cathar castles, local towns and villages. The gite was very clean and well equipped. We had plenty of space to relax in after our trips out, good garden area & barbecue. Annie-Claude and her husband were very welcoming and helpful, with good advice about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carl & David "

"Everyone was so nice and friendly. Pool was so nice and refreshing since it was practically 100 degrees f. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was easy and very good. We were glad too since up in the Cité there's no AC and all outdoor seating. Rooms very clean! And the included breakfast with the fresh OJ machine is so yummy! Private safe parking with lots of shade a plus too!!"
