"Modern with lots of fun, campy touches. They gave us sweet fruity shots at check in. The rooms are like modern vacation cabins with board and batten walls, there’s a turntable with a few classic rock LP’s and a little Marshal amp, an orange Smeg mini fridge, an old classic black dial telephone on the wall. The bed is comfortable, all white with good duvet. Bathroom is spacious with good amount of counter space. We really like this place and are glad we didn’t get the staid traditional hotel we almost got. "

"The staff was AMAZING… the Bellevue spa Was LOVELY and we travelled with our 3 year old (we are a mid 30s couple from Boston) and she LOVED the pool. The staff would bring everything right away no matter what you called and asked for, extra towels, espresso pods, robes- you name it!! They were all so kind, pleasant, and helpful… I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE who tells me that they are coming to Cork. The only caveat would be that they don’t let kids in the pool past 6pm, children aren’t allowed in the terrace outdoor bar (which is a super bummer bc most of the seating is outdoors with breathtaking views) and children aren’t allowed in the theater. Definitely not the most child friendly place, but that is my only complaint"

"This Hotel was Excellent! We booked two rooms for two nights each, to be able to enjoy Cork. When I booked them, I wasn't sure if both rooms would be King beds, because of the description. But turns out that they have a King, and a Super King (apparently a super King is just a little larger than the King) So that worked out great for all of us. The Maldron has a great staff, so professional, whether it was the front desk, room service, the dining areas or the bar. The hotel looked brand new, the rooms were spotless the bathrooms were great- we loved the "rain shower". The beds were SO Comfortable! The pricing was great also. The Maldron (South Mall), is just around the corner from streets filled with really great restaurants, shopping, wine bars, pastry/coffee shops etc. Parking is available through them 24/7, but not on site. We chose to park at the Mall because we didn't need our car in the evening, or till after 8am when the garage opens. But check the hours first! Everything we needed was within walking distance from the Maldron. Great Hotel, great area for food right around the corner from it! Highly recommend!"
