We booked without realizing the lengths they have gone to for reducing waste, using local resources and producing some of their own energy with solar panels... right down to the wooden key cards instead of plastic. Nice hot tub area, room was in great shape, friendly staff, we didn't have time to try the complimentary ebikes... but we will be back, and will use them on our next journey through the area... since we will definitely choose Fernie Fox again.

The sustainability efforts at the Fernie Fox are truly unmatched. It's something you have to see to believe really. It's been a favorite hotel of ours for a few years or more and every time we stay, there is something else they've improved upon. The hospitality is genuine, the cleanliness outstanding, the amenities make you feel like you're at home, and the scenery is breathtaking. I mean it when I say that you have to see it and experience it to understand and appreciate it. 1,000,000 ⭐s

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is a fantastic hotel. Their mindfulness with energy and waste is RADICAL! Everyone is nice, the hotel is clean, they got rid of wasteful single-use garbage and use local British Columbia products that are oh so nice! I'd like to send everyone here and see more hotels that pay attention to these things.
