"Outstanding hotel with close access to San Marco! Private vaporetto service through hotel for a small fee. Incredibly delicious breakfast buffett with fresh fruit, croissants, rolls, bakery, fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, desserts and more. Wonderful staff and the rooms are impeccably clean. Quiet small community of Guidecca at night with restaurants, bars, coffee shops. We visited San Marco during the day and spent nights in Guidecca. Boat ride is 10 minutes. "The main hotel was very nice but we were located in the annex on the 5th floor with no elevator. This was difficult with large luggage or after a full day of walking. The bellhop did help with the luggage though. Entry to the annex was in a back alley. Room was large and nice although a bit dark. Front desk staff were great. Hotel location was excellent. "
