"Very comfortable hotel. Relatively expensive compared to others but very pleasant. Unfortunately we booked via Hotels.com and didn’t check the restaurant opening times on the web site. We wanted a hotel within 3 hours drive from Calais on a Sunday night and their restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening. Quite a few places to eat in Chalons en Champagne about 20 minutes away, so not a big issue but would have been good to know when considering choice of hotel when booking."

"What a find! The owners have combined their family heirlooms with modern facilities most charmingly in their farmhouse. Beautiful gardens and thoughtfully arranged outdoor spaces. A most sympathetic and friendly hostess. Our evening meal was home cooked with vegetables and fruit from their potager. This will be our default stopover and we fully intend to stay a few nights and explore the area by bicycle in the future."

"Just fantastic. Only 4 rooms free champagne tasting at 6:00pm each night. I the middle of town. Let’s face it who doesn’t want to stay in a 104 year old champagne house. Just excellent"
