Visit Curling Vine Winery, a rustic estate with a variety of wines you can purchase and enjoy on site. In addition to bottles of wine, it sells a selection of products from Missouri. Gaze at the impressive building and appreciate its charming glass façade and large arch, before heading inside to see an interior decorated with murals.
Arrive at the bar and learn from the guide about the differences among the site’s list of wines. Taste the Vidal Blanc dry white wine or the Chardonel, which is a little spicier. Try Missouri’s official state grape in the Norton vine wine, a dry red with fruit, spice and oak touches. The family-friendly tasting rooms also serve Concord grape juice, so your kids or designated driver can enjoy non-alcoholic refreshments.
Purchase bottles of wine from the gift shop or order them online. The winery has custom laser engraving so you can create special gift bottles with personal messages. Stroll through some of the six tasting rooms of classic design.
Chat with the staff about the traditions of winemaking in Missouri and the rich history of the winery. It was formerly known as the Stone Hill Winery and has been welcoming wine enthusiasts to this location since 1986.
Note that the Branson site opens daily from morning until early evening. Stop at its sister branch in the Missouri city of New Florence on your next visit to St. Louis.
