Ok it's not the Hilton but in fairness to the hotel this is a budget hotel that is great value for money, very clean and the staff are very efficient and friendly. Location is a bit out of the way and you need transport but for a safe, clean and lovely beds stay this place hits the spot. Breakfast is limited but you do have sufficient variety to keep you going for the day. From cereal to fruit to eggs, grits and pancakes. So in summary if you want a basic hotel that does the job then consider it if you want to be more centrally located and have lots of food options then pay 2-3 times the amount we paid and enjoy. Thank you Wingate for a pleasant stay with easy check in & out. Cleaning staff are excellent.

The property was overall okay, but the shuttle was a bit dirty and well worn (check engine light on, seats had holes in them, etc.). The continental breakfast was disappointing… no water available to drink and the pancake machine was broken. The room was a good size, but there was a live roach in the bathroom and one of the seats clearly had a stain from water or pee. The staff was okay, but nothing amazing. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall the room served its purpose for what we needed. However, the staff could really use customer service training. When calling to see how we get a shuttle from DFW Airport (which is HUGE) the gal could not give guidance whatsoever and said, “once you figure it out, call us and we’ll send the shuttle!” We ended up passing $50 for a taxi to drive us less than 10 min. I personally DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. Had it not have been too late to cancel the reservation we would have stayed somewhere else.

overall our stay was great! the only thing that was an inconvenience was the housekeeping. we had to request it. I told front desk we will be out all morning and she said great, we will go as early as we can! We came back around 12:00 PM and still no housekeeping. Around 1:00 PM they came knocking trying to clean room and I refused since we were relaxing in bed after a long morning! Other than that everything was great!

Before booking, I purposely contacted the hotel chain and was told that vehicles can park free of charge up to 7 days, while we take a shuttle to the airport. Arrived and was told there is a charge of $14 dollars a day. This has happened twice, thus me calling to confirm if free parking was allowed. Explained at front desk and they refused to honor what was told to me.
