On booking no mention of restaurant full booked By a church convention I’m sure this wasn’t a last minute booking So we had to dine in the bar basic menu slow service as only one person serving and manager working on his computer

The room was really cold when I got to it. Was unable to stream my phone to the TV. Iron on the ironing board looked very unsafe and cord on steam iron was too short to easily use it. Bed was a little too low for my disability. Breakfast was good however sitting down with my disability was not easy. When leaving the slope from reception to the disabled parking bay was not easy to climb.

First stay at the Staverton. Very handy for an event we were attending. Room in need of a bit of tlc, most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The taxi company the receptionist recommended was a let down, ordered 2 and only 1 turned up. Very late for the return pick up.

A utilitarian hotel which is starting to show its age. Long, chilly corridors led to a reasonable, basic room. A wall-mounted electric radiator struggled to warm the room, which was poorly-soundproofed. Reception, breakfast and bar all fine by British hotel standards; travellers from elsewhere would probably find them mediocre.

Overall it was ok. The staff were very nice The rooms need updating. The room was cold, The room was cold and needed updating and refreshing. The bed wasn't to bad , The breakfast was cold and tasteless Personally I wouldn't stay there again
