"After being helped with our bags down the stairs by Kevin, we felt immediately at home in our snug little cottage. There were many thoughtful touches and inclusions in the equipment provided, including a jug and several trays. A delicious home made chocolate slice was also provided, typical of the welcoming spirit of Astley Cottage. Views were of the lovely olive greens of the great Australian bush,"

"Overall the house was beautiful, our host Jane was there to greet us & pass on info we needed to know, everything we needed was provided & more, the pantry was stocked with more than we expected. Gas fire was amazing, so was the decor, comfortable living for our girls weekend away of 4 Netflix was a bonus, & location was also good. would highly recommend. "Our host was great and advised we could get early access to the apartment. On arrival I was more than happy. The rooms are beautiful with just about everything you need for the perfect stay. Sat right on the banks of the lake it’s great for early morning walks and fishing. A short walk into town, about 15 mins. A bit uphill going but easier coming back. My only complaint was an electric blanket would have been most welcome as the apartment can get cold even with the open fire going all evening and I don’t like having the split system going at night. Would definitely stay here again."

"I arrived before my friends and was greeted by Craig the little kookaburra, seated on the decking rail. When I entered the house the heating was already on! The bedrooms were delicious - extremely comfortable beds with high quality pillows, doonas and bed linen. My friends and I had a wonderful time, relaxing and chatting in the living area. On the first night we had takeaway pizza at home. Why leave paradise! The next night we went out for an early dinner and then came home and jumped in the brand new spa. If you want five star accommodation, do not hesitate to book Alyonah. Highly recommend. Thank you Dimitra"
