"This hotel is very nice but a bit further away from the main areas. We booked a superior room but the room we were given was very basic and quite surprised that Taj Palace had such basic rooms, probably the equivalent of a 2 or 3 star hotel. We complained and sure enough the manager apologised and upgraded us to a much nicer room. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent although a bit chaotic at times. Overall quite a lovely hotel. "

"The hotel is in a great location and the staff is really friendly (from security to housekeeping to restaurant staff). It isn't a modern hotel, so if you're looking for brand new, this isn't the place for you. We tried all three restaurants and all were great, and the spa was amazing. Between my long hair and my tall husband, we didn't have enough shampoo or body wash to share, and housekeeping noticed and left us extras. They also left us extra water when they noticed we bought more than what...

"Well appointed and super clean rooms. Buffet for both breakfast abd dinner was superb, with excellent live music during subday brunch. Would highly recommend. Good central location with proximity to north abd south delhi, aiport, and Nizamuddin train station to Agra. Highly recommend this oasis in the delhi chaos."

"Despite being a bit outdated, the hotel and our room were very spot clean. Bed was very comfortable, the room had all necessary amenities and was also quite spacious. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only thing I would recommend to work on is the speed of check-in and check-out, which took quite a long time. Overall very happy and would return if an overnight layover at Delhi."

"The Connaught hotel is a perfect location to explore Delhi. We easily moved about by car, uber, metro and walking. Hotel is quiet and clean. This hotel does not have a concierge but staff is still very helpful. The rooms are efficient size - think London. Bathroom is nice and shower is good size. Beds are comfortable. Air conditioning works great. Room was well maintained and cleaned by Arvind. I highly recommend this hotel."
