"The host family is kind and generous. They worked very hard to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely with twin beds made up as a king; it had a bunk bed that we did not use. As in most of the places we stayed, wifi was slow; I used my cell phone data instead. Their breakfast was wonderful, with way too much delicious food, served in a lovely setting."

"We had a lovely stay. The service was incredible. The place is run by 2 sisters and their Mamma. Mamma's food in the restaurant was SO good! (Book when you check in. It's homestyle Italian (homemade pastas, grilled meats...) Things you will want to know if you are American or from northern Europe... "We stayed at Stella Casa Bono while we looked around at areas in Abruzzo for a possible holiday house. The staff was so friendly and so helpful. We stayed in the junior suite with the balcony, clean, comfortable, and easy to get around the historic area of Sulmona. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and lots of help while we were there. I would strongly recommend this bed-and-breakfast."

"Great Hotel! I was actually hesitant to book this hotel because the picture in Expedia looks like it's in the middle of nowhere. When we got there, the hotel is actually right on the center close to shopping centres and churches. It is very modern and has great facilities. We were able to explore the town on foot.
