Damchen Resort

3.5 star property

"Extremely bad. Booked with hotels.com which charged 2880 for a 2000 room. Cheated and got substandard facilities. You must avoid both the hotel and hotels.com for booking anything. Both are fraudulent agencies. "

"Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra. "

"Hotel location, service is excellent. Nice garden, flowers. Punakha valley is awesome from this resort. Very nice view from room and balcony. Food is costly. There is not much option to eat nearby. Also for my case Hotel reception was not aware about my booking, they didn't get any intimation from hotels.com regarding my booking. Luckily I had the mail chain for confirmation."
