Decent gym and game room. Water from tap is sulfuric and smells, so if you take a bath that’s the aroma. Surprised they don’t provided filtered water or a few bottles for drinking. "Completely and unexpectedly perfect! We had a spacious room with a little kitchen, 10min from Belleayre. Super clean and toasty warm even when it was 0F outside. Highly recommend!"

"The service was excellent, the room was perfect (the splitter/HVAC units on the ground outside the room were a bit noisy - but not unpleasant at least for me - however for future guests, you may want to consider muffling the sound if possible), immaculate, bed was very comfortable, TV was excellent (theatre-grade), the Exec Chef at the Shandaken is definitely "Michelin-grade", outstanding cuisine, complimentary breakfast menu was fantastic, the entire management/service team was/is "top-notch"....

"We had a great time at The Amelia this past weekend. The property is beautiful, and we loved how the whole house was usable to our discretion: there was a living room with a fireplace, the kitchen was stocked with breakfast items and snacks kindly prepared by the hosts, and the backyard had a fire pit perfect for the cold weather we experienced. The rooms were also very cozy and spacious. Would definitely go back again or recommend to anyone considering a trip to the area!"
