"My wife and I had a wonderful 1-night stay at Hotel Burg Wassenberg. We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path. "The property is a bit remote, set in the charming hills between erkelenz and Aachen. Excellent place to get away from it all and have a focused meeting with colleagues. Great service. No A/C which means the rooms are hot and stuffy. Wry comfy bed and pillow. "
