"Initially I wanted to go for a trip by car but I was too late to get both the air ticket and the rental car reservation as I wanted. So I went for a city trip to Hakodate on foot and by public transport. This is very well possible by the famous tramway and buses too. "

"The Park Hotel in Sapporo is great value these days. The cheaper rooms are a bit tired but if you get a park view room and include breakfast you will have a great stay. The hotel’s Japanese and Chinese restaurants are excellent and the surrounding Nakajimakoen park is beautiful. It’s my favorite place to stay in the fabulous city of Sapporo!"

"We loved the location, a tram stop right in front of the hotel and a Family Mart attached. Less than 10 minutes to Goryokaku Tower/park. The laundry onsite was reasonably affordable. The room was relatively large as well as the bathroom, and the pajamas they provided were our most comfortable that we slept in in Japan.
