"Hotel has nice view. Despite an old hotel, this hotel do maintain high level of cleanliness and we can hardly see any stains on the furniture / wall. Staff are all friendly and approachable. However, it’s time to change the chairs as it looks old and torn. But the rest of the furniture looks new. The bed linen is rough and bed is too firm. Decoration around the hotel is superb especially during Christmas season, it does give people the Christmas atmosphere. "

"I like that it was a five minute walk to the main shopping street. The hotel is older and the rooms are very small. We sent our luggage 3 days ahead to Kyoto and they helped us arrange it. I would choose a larger room or accommodations next time, but for our first stay in Sapporo, it was a great value. "
