"We stayed at the winners inn several years ago and it was awful. The rooms were dingy and it was just gross. We decided to give them another chance after hearing about their remodel and we couldn’t be happier. The room was really clean, the bathroom- everything remodeled. Granted there was no microwave, but we weren’t there for accoutrements. We were there for a quick overnight stay, we didn’t require a microwave or refrigerator. "I left a few expensive items at the front desk while checking in, as I was obviously tired. The next morning, after I got home, I realized what I had forgotten. I called the hotel and confirmed the situation with the front desk associate. I was able to retrieve my personal items by coordinating with the front desk manager and a local shipping company. A few days later, I was happily reunited with my belongings. Thank you!"

"You get what you pay for. This is a very old place. Not in great shape, but serviceable for overnight. No pillowcases on pillows. My bathroom was fine, but my friend in the next room’s bathroom was almost unusable. If you just need a stopover, or are rockhounding and just care about rocks and a place to crash, this is it. The food at the casino across the street is great and well priced. "
