"Nice property and eye pleasing. Desk clerk was very kind, she just had some issues with the precheckin process. I had completed the checkin online, so all I needednto do was get my key and go to my room. When we got here, she said the computer showed we were already here, so she had to get an employee to check the room to make sure no one was in it. She was very kind and cooperative about the situation, it slowed down supposed quick, no fuss checkin. "

"The hotel is attached to casino so when you walk in smoke is horrid. They have a pretty sitting area and if it was separated by glass from The casino you could enjoy the fireplace etc. The hotel was very safe and no smoke at all. The complimentary valet parking was great as well. "

"When I arrived there was a guy in a wheelchair in the parking lot with a electric leaf blower blowing leaves away. He clearly worked there. He did an amazing job cleaning the outside of the property. It was fall and there were leaves from many trees everywhere. But after a few hours, it was perfectly clear and clean. Kudos for the guy with one leg for working so hard and also to the hotel for making a job for the hard to employ."

"Disappointed that the pool was closed. Only reason we picked Holiday Inn in Poteau was the pool. The hotel is average, the front desk lady seemed to be in a rush. She could have been friendlier. Hopefully the breakfast is good."
