"We stayed for a week at the Umami Hotel and it was wonderful. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and offered helpful suggestions. We loved our time in Puerto Viejo and at this hotel. We ate breakfast at Umami everyday and they served good-size portions of high quality food. There are many great staff members at the hotel, but I’d like to specifically recognize Ramundo, Tony, and Rodney for making our stay extra special. Very close to the beach as well, which itself is very quiet. We had an absolutely amazing stay and I wish we could have stayed more days.
