"Property listed as a “beautiful, spacious, 3-bedroom, 3-bath” house, about 40 minutes from Augusta. Check in: No door code sent before arrival. To no fault of the owner, The Army Corp of Engineers dropped the lake for bridge maintenance so there wasn't enough water to Moor our boat. On a good note it was only 10 minutes up the road and we put in at Bobby Brown State Park and our trip was filled with fishing, boating and having fun with our grand children. "While staying here, we worked remotely and found the internet speeds to be reliable. We prepared most of our meals using the available appliances, including an oven, toaster oven, and microwave. Every day, I enjoyed a walk down to the dock for some fresh air and always felt safe doing so, even when walking alone. The combo lock was a convenient feature, eliminating the need to keep track of a key."
