"You get what you pay for, was a comfortable stay at short notice and very very reasonably priced. No kettle, no iron. Lighting was good in the room, bed reasonably comfortable, 2 towels provided for my over night stay, television to pass the time and great central location. Yes there was a £8 charge for parking, how ever over all price was much cheaper than some of the other options. I would stay again. Just don’t expect luxury for the price."

"Had a really good stay at Mercure Sheffield Parkway. Had to mark down slightly on a couple of things. 1, had a problem with the tv, which was sorted, but then happened again. 2, bed was comfortable but found the pillows a bit too firm. Otherwise the room was very good, with plenty of space, and a good bathroom especially the shower which was spacious and hot. Really handy to have the small fridge too. And dogs allowed , yippee. "

"The bedroom was clean and tidy. The bed was a super king size and was super comfortable. The pub was very nice and the bar and serving staff were very helpful, customer service was excellent. "

"The rooms are lovely after the refurb. However I found the lighting very low. There was no main light. They're trying to create a mood lighting room. I would have liked the option for a main light. No AC! The electric heater was too small for the large room. The gym looks brand new. Well equipped and a good place to train. The pool and steam room have seen better days. The food menu seemed a little pricey to me. Overall, nice improvements and I would stay again at the right price."

"Friendly staff, nice room quiet with radiator with temperature control. all clean and tidy, great budget hotel option. Nice breakfast (I pre ordered my preferred veggie sausages, as they cook them to order and this takes a while) and they were ready in morning which meant I had a relaxed pleasant breakfast with no worries about time. "
