"This was one of my ultimate Onsen destination for a long time. I read an article about this place being one of the top 5 go-to-onsen not only for Japanese and Onsen lovers all over the world as you need to operate cable car down to the below Iya Valley to enjoy outside onsen with spectacular views. I enjoyed both male and female side in 2 days and I was simply overwhelmed by the scenery. Only down side was the water is not hot enough as it is a naturally flowing onsen water without heating up. Kaiseki was unique since they cooked local fresh water seafood mostly which was a rare for travelers to enjoy. Indoor onsen was also great as well. Only negative part was we were checked into 6th floor and my mom had a difficult time to go down and up to lobby for cable car Onsen, basement for indoor Onsen, Kaiseki was 5th fl but breakfast was at the lobby level. For elderly customer, try to get a room near the lobby just in case."

"Hotel is new and immaculate. The interior architecture and design gives off very cozy vibes and is a wonderful marriage of modern and Japanese design. The room was spacious but the bathroom and shower were surprisingly tight. There is a great public bathing floor but it would have been nice to have some more counter space by the sink for getting ready in the morning. "

"The staff and hotel were wonderful. Close to shopping, dining and Hirome market, all about 1 minute away. Station is a brisk 15 min walk but tram stops almost in front of hotel. Would stay again"

They went above and beyond to help me whenever I had questions. The hotel also comes with an excellent restaurant. Their lunch and desserts are great. If I come back to Kochi, I will stay here again. "Excellent hotel with onsen, centrally located next to Obiyamachi covered shopping street. Amazing breakfast with local specialties such as seared bream, yuzu juice and lots of little sweet and sour dishes to tempt you. Close to Kochi Castle and short tram ride to Kochi Museum of Art. MyYu bus will take you to Katsurahama beach. The famous covered market is nearby and super place to eat. "
