Top hotels and accommodation in Mexico City

Hotel Catedral

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (1610)
"I really like the free water in the lobby. The hotel staff are friendly. Our room, 104, had a window that was located next to a squeaky flag pole. (Our window was between the U.S. and Mexican flag.) The flag pole was squeaking the entire stay especially when there was wind, and it was disturbing our sleep at night. Lastly, the smell of paint from an adjacent room that was being renovated during our stay was so strong I needed to leave our room to breathe fresh air. Overall an OK experience...

Hotel Embassy

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (2278)
"We were given a really noisy and extremely hot room. The sun was hitting directly all day on our window. But when we asked for a room change and specifically asked for a room at the back of the building, we were very very pleased with it. Though the rooms do not have a frigo or a coffe maker who can beat that price in one of the best areas of CDMX!!!!"

2.0 star property
6.8 out of 10, (29)
"It was hard to find the property at first since it does not have the name listed outside, but the man with the short hair was always very accommodating from the very start. He walked all the way to where we were so he could guide us to the building. Additionally, he would answer any questions we had regarding local places and the best ways to get there, even about local food. With that said, the rooms were very small as well as some of the common areas. Overall, the staff made it better."
