"This is a great apartment to stay in while in Norwich. 1. Very close to train station and city centre. 2. Well equipped kitchen for self-catering. 3. Comfy bed and bathtub. 4. Good wifi so was able to do work. However, 1. In the kitchen area, they should make sure screws are screwed down well to avoid sliced toes. 2. Heater was a bit unpredictable - had to ask for help on first day. 3. There was a lot of light from the street coming through at night and also from the corridor. The apartments...

"On first entry, we were surprised by the space. A good size lounge leading through to the kitchen dinner. Lovely rear enclosed garden and worth exploring right to the bottom. It does seem quite endless with a lovely suntrap. Spacious bathroom. Lovely oldy worldy wooden staircase to the 2 bedrooms. Very comfortable bed. Visited Sheringham, Sheringham Park, Walcott, Blickling, Cromer and Norwich. Many beach walks with dinner at the Poachers Pocket. "

"Very clean and great location"

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....

"A real local ,for locals & visitors friendly & relaxed , the staff professional & nothing too much trouble. We dined at restaurant a varied menu with excellent choices . A bonus was the breakfast, the sausages were locally sourced , best we have ever eaten . Definitely recommend the Crown hotel "

Sprowston Manor Hotel, Golf & Country Club

Relaxing stay with surprise upgrade

"Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist answered all of our questions. We discovered that we had been upgraded to a suite which was lovely. It was very well appointed although there were some areas that needed attention (dirty curtains and black mold on the bathroom ceiling). However the towels and bed linen were all clean and we appreciated the sitting area and coffee machine. Dinner was a little disappointing as there were only 4 choices on the menu and one wasn’t available. There were also some burgers that could be ordered from the lounge menu but that isn’t really what you expect for dinner in a hotel of this calibre. However we did enjoy the food we ordered and prices were reasonable. Breakfast was very nice but more fresh fruit and some ‘proper’ bread would have been nice. I also prefer a cooked breakfast made to order with a variety of eggs available (and maybe some smoked salmon too!). The leisure club was small but nice enough for a short stay. We definitely left feeling more relaxed than when we arrived so our stay certainly fulfilled its purpose! "

"We only stayed at the hotel for one night with our dog and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival by the friendly staff. The room was clean and a nice size for the price. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with a nice shower. There was a little noise in the evening but that’s to be expected from the location but we had a great nights sleep and so did our dog. Parking outside the hotel was great and they were actually nice and wide spaces for once. We’d definitely stay at the hotel again. "

"The room was a very good size, clean and had coffee, tea and chocolate making facilities. We had everything we needed in the room. The food was nice and the service was good. It did have golf and leisure services but we didn’t use any of that. Would definitely recommend. "
