"I was looking for a cabin to spend the weekend with my husband and 2 dogs. The cabin has a warm feel to it. It has games to play, hot tub and sauna. About 50 steps in the back yard is the fire pit then about 100ish steps to the pond. You can’t see the pond from the house but from the hot tub you can! "It was just me me, and whoa, this place is deceptively large once you notice the downstairs, which I didn't even use. Ran into a little random thing which the hosts were super-helpful and responsive with.I didn't cook there, can't comment on kitchen readiness for that.HIghly recommended as a home base- You can walk to everything you absolutely need and then you're going to have to drive everywhere else (because Detroit) and it's centrally located."
