"I’ve never been able to stay in a house near Five Island Lake, so this was a cool experience. There is a great fire pit area and dock down by the lake. Overall you stay here for the proximity to the lake and the newness of the building. Which is not really offered in any other rental house in Emmetsburg. "We really enjoyed the space. The house was bigger than I could tell from the listing, which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was great for mealtime and we made good use of the fire pit and grill. The backyard offered a decent amount of privacy, with no immediate neighbors."

The home was not as clean as we expected property is listed as pet free but we found dog hair very much in the main area and master bedroom. We did a lot of cleaning.
