The 230 m refers to the escalator to a parking area. The hotel is 1.3 kilometres from the top of the funicular which leaves from opposite the railway station. "Super location, just a block from the Duomo. City fun to visit, explore and enjoy. Hotel offered a delicious breakfast, but by breakfast 4, I would have enjoyed a little variation.
