"Beautiful overall. Staff was very helpful. This resort was everything. You may need a rental car if you want to explore St.Croix like we did, but staying there without leaving is great as well. Beach and pool area very nice as well. "

"The location was great. The room was nice and clean. Our favorite part was the restaurant. We ate there every night. Food was excellent and the staff was great. One of staff members who deals with the snorkel and beach equipment was a little snooty, maybe she was having a bad day. Overall it was a great experience and a nice boutique type hotel. One of the owners was very personable. Armas at the front desk was really nice and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place. "

"The location is great with dining onsite and more options nearby. Cane Bay Beach is also very nice. We loved the ocean view and the room is spacious and very clean. We had everything we needed for a nice vacation."

"The property is beautiful and my view of the beach was breathtaking! The staff were very friendly however, the room was not cleaned thoroughly on arrival and I had to call the front desk several times, to take the dirty towels and replace with clean towels. Also, the front des contact information was difficult to locate."

"The location was perfect. Love being right at the water. Plenty of benches for people watching. Did not like the fact there are no elevators, but I managed slowly with my cane. I liked the island charm feel of the property. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. I would stay again if the price would come down a bit."

"A bit of an older crowd than I anticipated based on the advertising. The staff was beyond amazing and friendly--they truly made our stay. The views are phenomenal. The hotel is a quick walk to the pier/restaurants/shops. A few cons--not a quiet area. Lots of barking dogs, chickens/roosters, etc. The area seems a bit sketch after dark but we were never confronted or asked for money. The hotel is adult-only, but it is open to the public so there can/will be kids, especially on cruise ship days....

One of our favorite parts was watching the lizards in the grass behind the camp stove, there was such a variety and they just hung out without worry of being watched. "The view is spectacular! The ground floor apartment is directly at the oceans edge with a large patio. That being said, there are no lounge chairs and the furniture that they do have is not ocean worthy. They need to upgrade. The apartment itself is good enough as a base but should be scrubbed clean. Pots and pans dirty, shower in spare bathroom was rusting, etc. We needed the electrician, and he came in a day to fix the Stove/Oven. So, two thumbs up for communication. There was no mold smell as...

"The Feather Leaf is a quiet spot on the edge of St. Croix... when there's no one else on property. There are times during the day when each of the guests are busy around the island a quiet moment can be had by the pool or on the veranda. But when the lodge is full and guests come back from the day, the quiet turns to thumps, bumps and slamming doors and the open air lodge does little to stop "all" noises from other rooms. The staff does an amazing job keeping the property kept but we had to...

"We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"

"We spent 8 days on island and this was the perfect home base for the week. It's not fancy, but it has updated amenities, it's clean, comfortable, has everything you need, (including beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels) minutes from Christiansted-but away from the crowds. When we had questions we just texted the owner and she responded within minutes. Definitely recommend if you're on a mid-range budget. It's worth every penny..."
