"Nice entryway, lots of room for shoes. 1st and 3rd floor bedrooms were spacious. Nice size livingroom. Need more cookware for kitchen, and would recommend fixing the exhaust fan in the bathroom, and a better foundation for the attic bed. Moving slats caused the mattress to sag, especially at the foot of the bed. We would stay again. "

"This house was absolutely perfect for our friend's weekend wedding. 14 guests, guys/girls in their early to mid 30s. We stayed at this house and attended our friend's rehearsal dinner and wedding about 30 min away. The location is perfect, slightly secluded and quiet. "This property was fantastic!! The house was beautiful and spacious for our family! The master bathroom had a really cool shower and the kids enjoyed the game room. There were seperate thermostats that everyone can enjoy their own temperature. "Checkin was a breeze! We were there for the annual Halloween parade in town. What a treat! Room was awesome size and comfortable. Hotel was clean and well located in this beautiful little town on the river! "

"The views are stunning but the nightly train horns make it tough to sleep. The rooms are very dated but functional. Its ok for a one night stop but would not stay for multiple days. "

"I was expecting a good hotel based on internet booking, what I discovered was an exceptional hotel that I would love to revisit. It was spacious, staff helpful, and the Bistro's elegant breakfast a perfect way to start the day."

"If I had a low-slung car, I wouldn't have been able to get to the hotel, the driveway is super steep and it snowed a lot. So here's a tip: if there's a forecast of snow, don't go in a low-slung car."

"We had a great stay. I do agree with past reviews that more attention can be paid to details of cleanliness. However, the beds and towels and shower were very clean, which was most important to me. The property is great and while we didn’t eat in the restaurant, it was convenient to know we could still have a great dining experience without leaving. The grounds were a great plus and I’m sure it’s better in warmer months. The staff provided great service as well, would visit again. "
