"The place was clean, comfortable and adequate for our needs. It is not so much a hideaway, as it it located in a small community, but it is on a hilltop with a lovely view in the distance. Regardless, we were grateful to find an acceptable and affordable place when our camping plans were threatened by weather. "We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful cabin. We went to Cherry Springs stargazing, but had the same wonderful view (and much more comfortable seats) from the fire ring area. We heard coyotes and turkeys. There was a deer in the front lawn Saturday morning. We, also, went on the Ole Covered Wagon tour and went shopping in Wellsboro. I enjoyed every minute on our relaxing weekend."

"The property is a treasure. It was a challenge to find in the dark; Google Maps located the cabin well, but the directions were misleading for finding the driveway. A call to the cabin owner's phone helped us with the directions. We had a couple of ambulatory-challenged individuals in our party who had to use the back entrance, as it had the fewest number of steps to climb. The outside steps did not have railings. Inside was clean and inviting. Accommodations were comfortable as well. "
