"The location was great for a wedding we were going to, and the place was very affordable. No desk check in was a little odd, but we were able to get into our room, just before midnight on the day we checked in with no issues. It was very warm in the room and in the hallway outside, though the lobby area was clearly air conditioned, no problem at night as we were able to open our windows to let the cool night air in. "This is a gorgeous historic property outside of town near the Klosterneuberg monastery. I chose it because I prefer green historic, authentically Austrian places. The staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. Just know what you're in for: It's a 20 minute bus or train ride to Heiligenstadt. It's a place built in the 13th century and can smell a little musty at first and the bathrooms are typically Austrian.
