"Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was excellent and I had the Jerk wings for dinner which were great too! Room was clean and comfortable. Pools were very clean. The location to the shopping and restaurant district was ideal, only a couple of blocks. Parking is limited and the street in front is one way but changes direction from 4 - 6 p.m. which is a bit confusing. Nice view from the balcony."

"We just returned yesterday from a perfect 5 day stay. We were continuously greeted by wonderful front desk staff who always made us feel welcome, and feel at home. From morning one, we started to meet other guests, some who come back every year, and it immediately starts to feel like a little community. "We loved staying at Fred. Took us a while to understand the slow paced culture of St Croix … a nice change from the fast paced craziness of our home in Washington DC. While there were a few hiccups during our stay - such as no towels; being ignored by staff at bar; etc - the Fred after we complained made things right.
