"We had an amazing time. Every single member of staff we spoke to from the reception staff, bar staff and breakfast ataff were awesome. We didn't eat in the restaurant of an evening but we had breakfasts on 2 days and what we had was delicious. John the manager was lovely and his support team were excellent. The hotel itself is just so beautiful, the grounds are amazing. We took a little walk in the evening. We went to the spa/pool at 7am on the Saturday and had the place to ourselves which...

"Breakfast was lovely and the lady cleaning up around the breakfast tables was excellent. Room was perfectly adequate for our needs. Would have liked to have used my own Netflix account on the smart tv in the room but that’s only a small thing and would take away from my review. I would certainly stay here again if in the area. Also the 12pm check out time was a real bonus. "

"Lovely room right by the water. Huge comfortable bed. Good shower. Air conditioning, though we didn’t need it in January, still good to know it’s available. The bar is nice though not well stocked. Lack of anything to eat when arriving late was a little downer. The Staff are first-rate, attentive and efficient. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere right on the river. The porridge is to be avoided, just damp oats. "
