"Sipanya Guesthouse was a real find- the property was spotlessly clean, the room was comfortable and breakfast in the hotel was excellent. Our host Abe was absolutely wonderful. He picked us up at the bus station and made us feel very welcome. We also booked a full day tour of the Plain of Jars and other nearby sights with Abe - it was a great experience. He was knowledgeable, and gave a very full informative tour in English. "

"I arrived very late at night (2300). I tried to call the hotel to let them know but was unable to contact the hotel - the phone number wasn’t correct, so when I arrived the gate was closed. Apparently, you could slide the big gate open but I didn’t know that. When I did get in (a local person phoned the hotel), the staff were very nice and checkin was easy despite little English being spoken. The suite was huge with a full lounge, a huge bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen/storage area. Everything worked and was very clean. Very comfortable. The view from the patio of room 01 was fabulous. The hotel was quiet, Breakfast was good and varied and fresh. The staff were extremely helpful and always professional and polite. They have a shuttle bus that took me to and from a museum (MAG office - google it - so interesting). Despite the initial arrival issues, I would stay here again and wish I’d had more time here."

"Awesome experience, the owners are amazing people and really go out of their way to take care of you. I showed up after having a motorbike crash earlier in the day and they really went out of their way to make sure that i was taken care of. Would highly recommend anyone staying here. The house is beautiful and the rooms are nice, everything was clean amd the breakfasts were amazing."
