"Great hostel for solo travelers looking to ski. Sleepy part of town with infrequent bus services and limited dining options, not very accessible to Niseko mountain but right at the base of Moiwa Mountain. Facilities were nice but the beds are uncomfy. Would recommend getting a car to get around. Would stay here again"

"This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. The location was convenient to drive to Toyaka Onsen town for food, but also to Rusutsu for skiing. "
