"We had a pretty good stay at the Toyoko Inn Saga. The Japanese style breakfast was great for one of us. The tub was nice but there were hairs left in the bathroom and a few pieces of plastic left on the floor of our cleaned room. Note that check in is at 4! Pretty late and the latest of anywhere we stayed in Japan. You are not allowed in a minute before 4. They have self check in and checkout machines that seem redundant. The staff still have to assist with it as it’s not very straight...

"The hotel facilities are quite dated, with a particularly unpleasant experience in the bathroom sink with the smell of sewage. The rooms were clean, all amenities were available, but I would only rate this hotel as a budget friendly option. The merits of the hotel were: cheap, super close to the station. The rooms are however dated. I could also hear the other guests talk or flushing the toilet from the room, but not bad enough to keep me awake. The rooms may be cold for those staying in the...
